Sunset Beach

This beach is best known for big wave surfing. It is along with Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay and Haleiwa Beach Park are world famous surfing spots. It is here major professional events like World Surfing Cup are organized inviting all enthu surfers from the world over. In winter -spring time dangerous water conditions when waves can reach up to 15- 20 feet high are meant only for the expert surfers but summer months when the sea is calmer this beach is ideal for swimming.
