Taxis are also available for local transport.Caiques (small passenger boats) or buses are also ply for travel around the town.

The best time to visit Mykonos Island is in summer but prepared to find huge crowds. So a visit during spring and fall would get you breathing space. September is ideal for diving as the temperature and visibility is just suitable.
