Seychelles Beaches
The Republic of Seychelles represents an archipelago of 115 granite and coral filled islands which are renowned the world over for their timeless beauty, peace and tranquility. It is located in the Indian Ocean about 1,600 kilometers (1,000 miles) east of Kenya.
The granitic islands like Make, Praslin and Ladigue form the cultural and economic hub of the country and the majority of the population can be located in these regions. About 90% of the Seychellois live on Mahe Island. The rest of them live on Praslin and La Digue islands while the remaining live on the smaller islands which are either sparsely populated or uninhabited. The Culture of the country is very exotic with French and African (Creole) influences. Creole is the native language of the people but French and English are commonly spoken as well.
Seychelles remains one of Natures most beautiful and unspoilt paradises left on Earth. It continuous landscapes of many beaches and luscious green backdrops with gentle pristine waters. It's the ideal hangout or holiday destination for the traveler who would just like to unwind and relax in some of the most picturesque locations of the world.
